JOB OVERVIEW

Hi, my name is Stepan and I run faceless YouTube channels reviewing online marketing and software tools. I am hiring a second long-term editor to work alongside my current one.

WHAT YOU DO

You get raw screen recordings, the voiceover audio, and the script. You turn them into a finished, high-quality video: captions, zooms, text callouts, effects, transitions, music, and our offer cards.

You do not record anything. You do not narrate. Someone else does that. Your job is purely the edit.

Most videos are 5-15 minute software tutorials and comparisons. Some are shorter 1-3 minute deal videos where I want heavier effects.

Around 4 finished videos per week.

The first three are the level I want for tutorials. The last one is a short deal video — that is where I want maximum effects.

Look at how the screen recordings are cropped and placed on a coloured background, how the captions highlight keywords, and how the discount card appears several times. That is what I am buying.

PAY

$ ---------- /month for 20 hours a week, depending on your experience and how the test video goes.

Paid every 2 weeks by Wise. Reviewed at 3 months and 6 months. There is room to grow into full-time and higher pay if the work is strong — I already have one editor on those terms.

WHAT ELSE

Work your own daytime hours. No graveyard shift — I am in Europe.
Weekends off. Philippine holidays off. 13th month pay.
I pay for your tools, including CapCut Pro.
Performance bonuses when videos do well.

WHO I WANT

Strong editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut
Comfortable with captions, text animation, zooms and motion graphics
Good eye for pacing — you know when a shot has been on screen too long
You follow a spec sheet exactly. This is not a creative-freedom role.
Reliable internet and a plan for brownouts
Thumbnail design is a plus, not required

WHO I DO NOT WANT

Wedding, cinematic or vlog editors. Different skill.
Anyone who needs a lot of revision rounds to get there.

HOW TO APPLY

I read every application that does all three. I skip the rest.

3. In 2-3 sentences: pick any ONE of my four videos above and tell me one specific thing you would edit differently, and why.

There is a paid test video ($30) before anything else. I never ask for unpaid work.
