SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT & GROWTH MANAGER
Short-Form Video Editing | $5 USD/Hour | Full-Time Potential

We are hiring an experienced Social Media Content & Growth Manager to help grow a Canadian jewelry company and its founder’s personal brand.

This is not a basic posting position. We need someone who understands hooks, short-form video, viewer retention, content strategy and analytics.

ABOUT US

Midnight Valley Jewelry creates waterproof, hypoallergenic jewelry for real life. Our primary audience is Canadian women aged 35–55.

You will also help develop the founder’s personal brand, which includes jewelry, entrepreneurship, farming, hospitality, construction and life as the owner of several businesses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Turn raw footage and photographs into engaging Reels and short-form videos
• Put the strongest footage and hook in the first one to two seconds
• Create Reels, Trial Reels, Stories, carousels and readable covers
• Write captions, calls to action and on-screen text
• Use appropriate product, location and account tags
• Repurpose content across Instagram, Facebook and ----------
• Maintain an organized six-to-eight-week content calendar
• Monitor performance and recommend what to repeat, change or test
• Help create founder videos, product launches and paid-ad creative
• Organize content and assist with related marketing or VA tasks

WHO WE NEED

You must have:

• Strong short-form video-editing skills
• Practical Instagram and Facebook experience
• An understanding of hooks, retention and analytics
• Experience with Canva and CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar software
• Strong written English
• Reliable internet, a working computer and a quiet meeting environment
• The ability to take notes, follow through and work without constant supervision

Meta advertising experience is an advantage, but this is primarily a content, organic social media and ad-creative position.

COMPENSATION AND TRIAL

Starting rate: $5 USD per hour.

Selected finalists will complete a 30-hour paid working trial. Two finalists may participate during the same trial week.

At the end of the trial, one or both candidates may be offered consistent, long-term work of approximately 30–40 hours per week. Performance, responsibilities and compensation will be reviewed after 60–90 days.

10–15-MINUTE APPLICATION TEST

Do not spend more than 15 minutes on this test. We are testing your judgment and resourcefulness, not asking for polished free work. Your sample will not be published or used by the company.

8. Send links to three short-form videos you personally edited.
