JOB OVERVIEW

About us

FastLane Hustle Rentals is a vehicle rental company in South Florida. We rent cars on 28-day renewable terms to gig-economy drivers — Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Amazon Flex, Instacart — across three counties. Our customers are working drivers. The car is how they feed their family, so this work is fast, personal, and it matters.

We are a small, tight team. There is no call center behind you. Everything runs through one system (GoHighLevel), and everything gets logged.

The role in one sentence

Every Spanish-speaking lead that comes into FastLane is yours — from the first phone call, through the rental, through every renewal after that.

This is not a script-reading appointment-setter job and it is not a back-office data-entry job. You are the entire customer relationship for a whole segment of our business. If you are good at this, you will have your own book of accounts that you personally built.

Why Spanish is required

A large share of South Florida gig drivers speak Spanish as their first language, and right now those leads do not get the same attention as our English leads. That is the gap you are filling. Our sales script is maintained in Spanish as well as English.

You need to sell, calm someone down, and chase a late payment — all in Spanish, on the phone, with a real person. This is not "some Spanish would be nice." Textbook Spanish will not survive the first call.

Part 1 — You own the lead
Take the inbound call. Leads come in through our system. You call them back fast. Speed is most of the job.
Qualify. Is the driver 25 or older, living in our service area, already approved and active on at least one gig app, and looking for a month or more? If they are not yet approved on a platform, they cannot finish — you tag the lead and set a callback instead of running the pitch.
Discovery. Which apps they run, how long they have been driving, what they are trying to solve.
Present the program. One flat weekly price that includes the car, the coverage, the taxes, unlimited miles, and maintenance. No deposit, no credit check.
Quote the car. Off our live availability sheet, built up in a specific order that we will train you on. There is a right way and a wrong way to say the number, and the wrong way loses the deal.
Send the exact car. Photos of that specific vehicle on our lot, by text. Everything after this happens in that thread.
Collect two things. A photo of their driver's license through our secure link, and proof of their active gig platform. Nothing else on the call.
Hand off for screening, then call the customer back the same day with the approval and a pickup time. That callback is the close. If it slips, the lead is gone.
Get the paperwork signed and the pickup booked.
Part 2 — You keep the customer

Once your customer has the keys, they stay yours:

Renewals. Every rental renews on a 28-day cycle. Seven days out you call and confirm: extending or returning? Log it the same day.
Payments. Verify the weekly payment landed. When one is missed, you contact the customer daily. Unresolved at 72 hours, you escalate to management — you document, you do not decide enforcement.
Weekly tolls. Every Monday, pull the prior week's tolls, match each one to the right customer, and invoice it.
Problems with the car. Gather the details and dispatch to our Fleet Coordinator. You do not diagnose vehicles.
Returns. Coordinate the return and get the car back on the availability board fast. An idle car earns nothing.
Notes. Every call, every commitment, every next step goes into the system. Our rule: if it is not logged, it did not happen.
Hard rules you will be trained on

These are legal and safety boundaries, not preferences. We check them.

No money on the phone. Ever. No deposit, no reservation fee, no card number. The first payment happens at pickup, in person. South Florida drivers are primed against rental scams — asking for money on a call kills the deal and reads as fraud.
You never give coverage advice. We are not an insurance agency and you are never the agent. If someone asks whether a specific situation is covered, the answer is always "let me confirm that and follow up," then you escalate. Saying the wrong thing here is a legal problem, not a sales problem.
You never promise income. Not to a driver, not to a vehicle owner.
You never change the price or the terms. Rates come off the sheet. Exceptions require written approval.
You never skip a screening step. Every step exists because something went wrong once.
When in doubt, escalate. "Let me confirm that for you" is always an acceptable answer here.
Requirements
Fluent, natural Spanish and English, spoken and written. You will be selling and collecting in both, by phone, every day.
Real phone confidence. You will make outbound calls to strangers, present a price, and ask for a commitment. You will also call people about money they owe. If that drains you, this is not your role.
Available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM US Eastern Time. Non-negotiable — it is when our customers and our office are awake. Check what that is in your local time before applying.
Reliable phone and internet. Minimum 10 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up, a backup connection, a quiet room, and a quality headset. Background noise on a sales call costs us deals.
Organized under load. You will carry dozens of open files at once, each on its own clock, with callbacks that cannot slip.
Follows a process exactly. We need someone who works the system, not someone who improvises.
Long-term. This is a permanent seat, not a short project.
Nice to have (not required)
Phone sales, inside sales, retention, collections, or account management experience
Experience with GoHighLevel, or any CRM (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce)
Experience with a US-based company — especially automotive, rental, logistics, or fleet
Google Sheets

What we offer:
$7.00 USD/hour, paid twice monthly on the 1st and 15th
Full-time, stable, long-term work with a company that is growing its fleet
Paid training, a written script, and SOPs for every step
Direct access to the owner — no layers, no bureaucracy
Real ownership of a segment of the business, with room to grow into a senior seat as we scale

Do not apply if:
Your spoken Spanish or English is not genuinely conversational
You are uncomfortable selling or asking for a commitment on the phone
You cannot commit to US Eastern business hours
You are looking for part-time or short-term work, or juggling several other clients

FIELD: HOW TO APPLY / APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

I read every application that follows these steps. I delete every one that does not.

1. Put this exact phrase in your subject line: FASTLANE-ES

2. Answer these three questions in your message:

What time is 9:00 AM US Eastern in your local time, and can you work through 6:00 PM Eastern every weekday?
Tell me about a time you sold something over the phone, or convinced a hesitant customer to commit. What did you say?
Where did you learn Spanish, and how often do you currently speak it?

3. Record a voice sample and share the link (Google Drive, Dropbox, or Vocaroo). About two minutes total, unscripted:

First 30 seconds, in English: introduce yourself and describe your work setup and internet connection.
Next 45 seconds, in Spanish: you are calling a driver named Carlos who asked about renting a car for Uber. Introduce yourself and the company, find out which apps he drives for and how long he has been driving, and ask for the appointment.
Last 45 seconds, in Spanish: same Carlos, three weeks later. His weekly payment was due two days ago and has not come through. Be polite, be clear, and get a commitment on when he will pay.

The Spanish recordings are the most important part of this application. Please do not use AI voice generation, a word-for-word script read, or a translation tool. I will be able to tell, and it is an automatic no.

4. Attach a screenshot of your internet speed test (speedtest.net).

Shortlisted applicants get a short video interview with me directly.
