Title: WordPress Migration Specialist — 10-Month Project, US Company (WordPress / 301 Redirects / SEO-Safe Migrations)
Rate: $8 – $10 USD/hour, based on demonstrated skill

About the project
A US healthcare company with treatment centers in several states is rebranding. We're moving ten websites onto ten new domains over the next ten months — roughly one site per month. Every page has to move without losing its search rankings, which means content moves, metadata gets rewritten, and every old URL gets pointed at its new home.
This is careful, methodical work. It is not glamorous. Done right, nobody notices — traffic stays flat through the move and then grows. Done wrong, a company loses a decade of search visibility in a weekend. We're hiring someone who understands which one of those they're preventing.
The problem I'm hiring to solve
We can direct ten site migrations but we can't personally execute three thousand URL moves, metadata rewrites, and redirect mappings.
What you'll actually own
- Moving pages and posts from existing WordPress sites to new ones, preserving formatting and images
- Rewriting titles, meta descriptions, and headings for the new brand
- Building and implementing the 301 redirect map — old URL to new URL, every single one
- Publishing content on a schedule we set — not all at once, because every batch has to be reviewed and verified before the next one goes out
- QA: broken links, missing images, redirect chains, orphaned pages
- A weekly written status on what moved, what broke, and what you're unsure about
- Additionally, Build Programmatic SEO into new migrated sites using dedicated sitesmaps and mega menu
- Familiar with WP Engine
You'll work directly with me and our content lead. We'll show you the process on the first site. After that we review, we don't hover.
Who this is for
You've done WordPress content migration before and you know what a 301 redirect is for, not just how to create one. You're comfortable in Yoast or Rank Math and you've used a redirect manager. You're careful with spreadsheets — a redirect map is a spreadsheet, and one wrong row is a dead page. You write clear English; we work asynchronously and almost everything is written. Most importantly: you ask before you guess. On a migration, a confident wrong assumption is worse than a question.
Who this is not for
If you've never touched a redirect, this isn't an entry point — the stakes are too high across ten sites. If you'd find ten months of methodical, repetitive, detail-critical work miserable, please don't apply; you'll be unhappy and so will we.
