# Mobile App UI/UX Designer — iOS + Android
**Previous App Store & Google Play Launches REQUIRED**
**Location:** Philippines — Remote
**Type:** Project-Based / Part-Time, with opportunity for ongoing work
**Compensation:** $8–$15 USD/hour depending on experience OR fixed-price per completed project
We are looking for an experienced **Mobile Product UI/UX Designer** to design polished, intuitive mobile applications for both **Apple iOS and Android**.
This is **not a graphic-design position**.
We need someone who understands how real mobile products work: user journeys, information architecture, navigation, onboarding, dashboards, notifications, subscriptions, settings, responsive layouts, accessibility and developer handoff.
Most importantly:
**You must have previously designed at least one mobile application that was successfully launched in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.**
Preference will be given to candidates who can show applications currently available in **both stores**.
## What You Will Do
You will work directly with the founder and development team to take product requirements and turn them into a production-ready mobile experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Understand product requirements and intended users
* Map user journeys and application architecture
* Develop user flows
* Create low-fidelity wireframes
* Produce high-fidelity mobile UI in Figma
* Build clickable Figma prototypes
* Design for both iOS and Android
* Create and maintain a reusable design system
* Define components, states, typography, spacing and interaction patterns
* Design onboarding and account creation
* Design dashboards and data-heavy interfaces
* Design notifications and alerts
* Design subscription/paywall experiences where required
* Design settings and account-management screens
* Design empty, loading, error and edge-case states
* Prepare production-ready assets
* Provide clear specifications for developers
* Work directly with developers during implementation
* Review implemented screens against the approved Figma designs
* Correct inconsistencies before release
* Assist with App Store/Google Play screenshots and launch assets
## REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
You should be able to check **YES** to the following:
☐ Strong Figma experience
☐ Professional mobile UI/UX experience
☐ Designed native or cross-platform mobile applications
☐ Understand Apple Human Interface Guidelines
☐ Understand Google Material Design
☐ Strong understanding of mobile navigation and interaction patterns
☐ User-flow and wireframing experience
☐ High-fidelity UI design
☐ Interactive Figma prototyping
☐ Component and design-system experience
☐ Responsive/adaptive design
☐ Developer handoff experience
☐ Experience working directly with engineers
☐ Understanding of loading, empty, error and edge states
☐ Understanding of mobile accessibility
☐ Able to design clean, modern, professional interfaces
☐ Excellent attention to detail
☐ Strong written English communication
☐ Able to meet agreed deadlines
### MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
☐ **You have designed an application that was actually deployed to the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.**
We want someone who has experienced the entire process from:
**Concept → UX → UI → Development Handoff → QA → Production App**
## Strong Preference
Experience designing:
* Fintech applications
* Investment/trading applications
* Financial dashboards
* AI-powered applications
* SaaS applications
* Data-heavy applications
* Real-time alerts and notifications
* Subscription applications
## How to Apply
Please do **NOT** send us a generic application.
Start your application with:
**"I HAVE SHIPPED A MOBILE APP."**
Then provide:
**1. Portfolio**
Send your Figma, Behance, personal website or portfolio.
**2. Live Applications**
Provide links to the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store for applications you personally worked on.
For each application, explain exactly what YOU designed.
**3. Figma Example**
Show us one example of a complete mobile application project in Figma, if permitted.
We want to see flows and systems — not simply attractive individual screens.
**4. Experience**
Tell us:
* Years of UI/UX experience
* Years designing mobile apps
* Number of apps you have helped launch
* Whether you have worked on fintech/investment applications
* Whether you have worked directly with developers
**5. Compensation**
Provide:
* Your hourly rate in USD
* Your approximate fixed-price estimate for designing a complete mobile application
* Your weekly availability
## Important
We are looking for someone who can **design a product that developers can actually build**, not someone who simply creates attractive screens.
Strong performance can lead to ongoing work across multiple applications.
