Green Family Immigration Law is a U.S.-based virtual immigration law firm seeking a warm, confident, persuasive, and highly organized Legal Intake & Sales Specialist.
You will often be the first human interaction a prospective client has with our firm. We are looking for someone who can make prospective clients feel comfortable, listen carefully, gather information efficiently, explain our consultation process clearly, consistently follow up, and confidently guide qualified prospective clients toward taking the next step.
This is both a client-service and sales position. You should be comfortable speaking with people on the phone, discussing consultation fees, handling objections, following up with leads, and asking prospective clients to book a consultation.
Responsibilities
Respond quickly to new prospective-client inquiries
Communicate with leads by phone, text, and email
Gather basic intake information and understand why the prospective client is contacting the firm
Conduct initial nonlegal screening using firm scripts and procedures
Schedule consultations
Explain consultation fees and firm processes clearly
Handle common objections professionally
Follow up consistently with leads who have not scheduled
Follow up with prospective clients after consultations when directed
Maintain accurate notes and lead stages in the CRM
Make sure no prospective client falls through the cracks
Track leads through the entire intake pipeline
Help reduce missed consultations through reminders and follow-up
Recognize legal questions and escalate them to the attorney/legal team rather than providing legal advice
Follow firm scripts while still sounding warm and natural
Meet performance expectations for response time, follow-up, appointments booked, show rate, and conversion
Requirements
Excellent spoken English
Warm, friendly, confident phone presence
Strong listening and communication skills
Prior experience in sales, intake, appointment setting, customer service, or phone-based work
Comfortable discussing prices and asking someone to book an appointment
Comfortable handling objections such as “I need to think about it” or “I don't want to pay for a consultation”
Persistent with follow-up without being aggressive or pushy
Able to take control of a conversation while still making the caller feel heard
Able to follow scripts without sounding robotic
Excellent organization and CRM habits
Comfortable learning new software and using AI tools
Reliable internet connection and a quiet professional environment for calls
Law-firm experience is helpful but not required
Immigration experience is a plus but not required
Please apply only if the $6–$7/hour compensation range works for you.
HOW TO APPLY — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Please submit all of the following:
1. Résumé
2. Voice Recording
Send a 60–90 second voice recording introducing yourself and explaining why you would be good at speaking with prospective immigration clients. Please do not simply read from a prepared script.
3. Experience
Briefly describe your previous experience with sales, intake, appointment setting, customer service, or phone-based work.
4. Price Shopper Test
A prospective client calls and says:
“Hi, I'm calling different immigration attorneys to find out how much they charge for a marriage green card. How much does your firm charge?”
Write exactly what you would say next.
5. Free Consultation Test
A prospective client says:
“I don't want to pay $200 for a consultation. I only have one quick question. Can I just ask the attorney?”
Write exactly what you would say.
6. Objection/Closing Test
You explain the consultation process and the caller responds:
“Okay, let me think about it and I'll call you back.”
Write exactly what you would say next.
7. Follow-Up Test
A prospective client spoke with you yesterday and seemed very interested but did not book a consultation.
Write the text message you would send the prospective client the next day.
8. Judgment Test
A caller asks:
“I overstayed my visa, but I'm married to a U.S. citizen. Can I still get a green card?”
Write what you would do or say.
9. Availability
Tell us whether you are currently employed or working for any other clients.
10. Attention-to-Detail Test
