This is a hands-on role for someone who can prepare legal documents, complete court forms, handle electronic filings, communicate with courts and attorneys, monitor deadlines, organize evidence, and keep every case moving without constant supervision.
Experience with California family law, civil litigation, restraining orders, discovery, and Los Angeles County Superior Court is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

-Review court orders, minute orders, emails, discovery, and case documents.
-Draft motions, pleadings, declarations, objections, notices, and other legal documents under direction.
-Draft discovery requests, responses, deficiency letters, subpoenas, and meet-and-confer correspondence.
-Complete California Judicial Council forms and related court forms.
-Prepare exhibits, attachments, proposed orders, and proofs of service.
-Handle California family law and civil electronic filings.
-Monitor filings until accepted and promptly correct rejected submissions.
-Check court dockets for new filings, rulings, orders, and hearing dates.
-Call court clerks, attorneys, law offices, agencies, and other authorized contacts.
-Coordinate signatures, service, transcript requests, records requests, and document delivery.
-Assist with authorized online claims, FBI reports, police reports, and government submissions using verified information.
-Transcribe court hearings and recordings when legally permitted.
-Organize evidence, including emails, messages, recordings, photographs, transcripts, and court documents.
-Prepare hearing packets, case summaries, timelines, and daily status reports.
-Research California court procedures, local rules, forms, and filing requirements.

-Calling clerks, attorneys, and government agencies
-Court docket monitoring
-Hearing preparation and transcription
-Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Word, and PDF tools
