JOB OVERVIEW

TailWerks is hiring a PPC Manager to manage Google Ads, Local Services Ads, and Meta campaigns for veterinary and pet-industry clients.
This is a hands-on execution role. You will be responsible for improving campaigns, controlling wasted spend, maintaining accurate tracking, and helping clients generate qualified leads and booked appointments.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage Google Search campaigns
- Manage Google Local Services Ads and lead feedback
- Manage Meta advertising and retargeting campaigns
- Structure campaigns by location and service
- Research and manage keywords and negative keywords
- Review search terms and remove irrelevant traffic
- Write and test new ad variations
- Manage budgets, bidding, targeting, and geographic settings
- Match campaigns with the correct website or landing-page path
- Audit existing accounts for wasted spend and structural problems
- Pause underperforming ads and shift budgets toward better results
- Manage seasonal campaigns, promotions, and new-client offers
- Verify call and conversion tracking before campaigns launch
- Monitor lead quality, valid leads, calls, and booked appointments
- Keep multi-location campaigns and reporting separated by location
- Prepare monthly reports showing spend, cost per lead, booked appointments, and planned changes
- Document all work, findings, and account changes in ClickUp
- Give Account Managers accurate information before client meetings
- Coordinate with Account Management, SEO, Web/Design, and Development
Performance Measures
Your performance will be evaluated using:
- Qualified leads and booked appointments
- Cost per lead and cost per booked appointment
- Conversion rates
- Budget pacing and wasted-spend reduction
- Search-term and negative-keyword quality
- Local Services Ads lead quality
- Conversion and call-tracking accuracy
- Reporting accuracy
- On-time task completion
- Clear documentation and communication
Clicks and impressions alone are not considered successful results.
Standards
- Client advertising must run inside the client’s own accounts
- Tracking must be tested before money is spent
- Results must be reported accurately and never misrepresented
- Every important account change must be documented
- Work is not complete until it has been checked
- No campaign should be left unattended between monthly reports
- Problems, delays, overspending, and tracking failures must be reported promptly
- Account information cannot be shared outside approved systems
- Unauthorized communication, falsified reporting, neglected accounts, or misrepresentation of results are grounds for termination

Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns
- Strong understanding of Google Search campaigns
- Experience with keywords, negative keywords, budgets, bidding, and geographic targeting
- Ability to identify wasted spend and account-structure problems
- Understanding of conversion and call tracking
- Strong written and spoken English
- Professional email communication
- Able to explain campaign performance clearly
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Able to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
- Reliable computer, internet connection, and quiet workspace
Experience with Local Services Ads, Meta advertising, call tracking, multi-location accounts, and veterinary or pet businesses is preferred.
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available during U.S. Mountain Time business hours
- Must be available for video calls during working hours
- Must not have university classes, another job, or recurring commitments during working hours
- Outside commitments cannot affect attendance, responsiveness, deadlines, or performance
- This position must be your primary commitment during the required schedule
