JOB OVERVIEW

Jeong X is a social media + monetization agency for expert, education, and news brands. We run high‑volume content machines for clients doing millions of views per month, and we need a steady stream of strong overseas talent (video editors, motion designers, social media managers) to keep up.

We’re hiring a full‑time Talent Recruiter / Sourcer whose main job is simple:
Keep our pipeline full of excellent creative candidates and move them through our audition funnel fast, so the team never has to chase or scramble for hires.

This is not an HR generalist role and not a manager role. It’s a hands‑on, high‑activity recruiting position focused on sourcing, screening, and coordinating tests/trials.

APPLY HERE: ----------

What you’ll do
You will own the end‑to‑end pipeline for creative roles (editors, motion designers, SMMs):
* Source candidates daily
* Post and refresh job ads on platforms like OnlineJobs, Upwork, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, etc.
* Run outbound DMs to promising profiles using our scripts.
* Build and maintain a “bench” of pre‑qualified candidates we can tap when we need to hire.
* Run our audition funnel
* Send applicants our application form and collect reels/portfolios.
* Filter candidates against clear criteria and examples (style, speed, language).
* Coordinate and schedule:
* Take‑home tests (editing or motion tests).
* Live working sessions (Zoom / screen share).
* Paid trials.
* Coordinate with the team
* Work closely with our post‑production lead and social media lead to understand upcoming headcount needs.
* Keep them updated on candidate status, upcoming tests, and likely start dates.
* Make sure they only see finalists, not noise.
* Track recruiting metrics
* Keep a simple dashboard of:
* Candidates sourced per week
* Tests sent / completed
* Hires made
* Cost per successful hire
* Time‑to‑fill for each role

Your success is measured by speed and quality of hires, not by how many meetings you sit in.

What success looks like (first 90 days)
By month 3, you:
* Have consistent pipelines for editors, motion designers, and SMMs (bench of strong candidates ready).
* Can fill a standard role (editor / SMM) from “approved headcount” to “start date” in 2–3 weeks or less.
* Are delivering candidates that pass our tests and trials at a high rate (most first hires stick).
* Have removed sourcing, screening, and scheduling from the founders’ and SMMs’ plates.

Must‑have
* Proven experience recruiting or sourcing for creative, digital, or remote roles (agency or startup experience is a plus).
* Comfortable doing high‑volume outreach and managing many candidates at once.
* Strong written English – you’ll be messaging candidates all day.
* Organized and detail‑oriented:
* Can maintain trackers, candidate notes, and hiring stages without dropping balls.
* Fast and responsive:
* You acknowledge messages quickly, hit deadlines, and keep everyone updated.
* Resourceful:
* You don’t sit and wait for applicants; you go out and hunt for better talent when inbound is weak.
* Comfortable working fully remote, across time zones.

Nice to have
* Experience hiring video editors, motion designers, or social media managers.
* Experience with tools like Notion, Airtable, Google Sheets, Slack, and applicant tracking systems.
* Basic understanding of what “good” looks like in short‑form / YouTube editing or motion design (you don’t need to be an editor, but you should be able to spot obvious quality differences).
