JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help connect business email accounts via DNS records for a large portfolio of websites.

We currently manage approximately 80–90 B2B websites/domains. The websites are hosted with Hostinger Website Builder, the domains are registered primarily through Dynadot, and the business email accounts will be hosted through Hostinger Email.

Your primary responsibility will be to correctly configure each domain for Hostinger Email, create/setup the appropriate business email address, configure email forwarding, and verify that everything is working properly.

This is a one time project-based position initially, but there may be additional ongoing website/domain-related work available as we build more sites in the future.

Responsibilities
Set up business email accounts through Hostinger Email
Configure domains registered through Dynadot to work correctly with Hostinger Email
Add and/or update the required DNS records provided by Hostinger
Configure MX, TXT and other required email DNS records
Carefully avoid modifying unrelated website DNS records
Configure automatic email forwarding from each business email address to my primary company email
Test each email account after setup
Confirm that each mailbox can properly receive email
Confirm that outgoing email works properly

I will provide access to the necessary accounts along with video instructions and an example of the correct setup.

For domains using Dynadot DNS, you must be comfortable carefully adding the email-related DNS records without disrupting the existing website connection.

Do not change or delete existing DNS records unless specifically instructed to do so.

Attention to detail is extremely important because these are active business websites.

Completion Requirements

A domain should only be marked as completed after all required steps have been verified.

Ideal Candidate

Looking for someone who:

Has experience managing domain DNS records
Understands MX, CNAME and TXT records
Has experience setting up business/domain email
Is comfortable working with Hostinger
Is comfortable working with Dynadot or similar domain registrars
Understands basic DNS propagation
Can troubleshoot email delivery/configuration issues
Has excellent attention to detail
Can follow written/video instructions precisely
Can work independently
Is comfortable working through a large list of domains without skipping steps

Previous experience with Hostinger Email and Dynadot is strongly preferred, but experience performing similar DNS/email configuration through other hosting companies and registrars is acceptable.
