JOB OVERVIEW

ZenduIT and GoFleet are a Toronto-based fleet management and telematics company — GPS tracking, AI dashcams, and field-operations software for mid-market and enterprise fleets across North America (waste, transit/bus, airports, construction, field service). We're a small team that runs on Claude for almost everything, and we hire people who already think that way.

Our support desk is moving to a solutions posture: the person who takes the case is expected to diagnose the device, not route it to someone who will. You're working with GPS trackers, AI dashcams, cellular connectivity and telematics data on live commercial fleets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose device and installation faults from telemetry — dropped signal, GPS drift, power/ignition wiring, SIM and carrier issues, camera and video upload failures
- Distinguish hardware failure from signal-coverage problems from configuration errors, and prove which it is with data
- Build the dashboards and views that let you see fleet-wide device health before customers report it
- Turn repeated cases into a documented diagnostic path

SKILLS YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE
- You can read a raw device log or telemetry export and find the anomaly without being told what to look for
- A real fault you diagnosed — symptom, hypotheses, how you ruled them out, root cause
- Any hands-on background with IoT hardware, cellular/GSM, cameras, vehicle electrical or telematics — the strongest single signal for this role

TO APPLY: Put the keyword SIGNAL in your subject line. Before anything else in your application body, answer these two questions in your own words (this is a reading check — the answers are in this post):
1. Name two of the five fault types listed in "what you'll do."
2. What do we ask you to turn every repeated case into?

Then send a Loom (max 5 minutes): take any messy machine data you have access to — logs, sensor exports, a CSV of readings — and show us how you use Claude to turn it into a view that surfaces the anomaly. Talk through a real fault you diagnosed. If you've never used Claude, say so in one line instead of faking it — we'd rather know.
