JOB OVERVIEW

TennMore Studios is a growing U.S. production company looking for a talented part-time video editor in the Philippines to become a long-term member of our post-production team.

We're not looking for someone who only knows how to add captions, transitions and effects.

We're looking for a storyteller.

Our work includes documentary films, sports storytelling, medical and human-interest stories, music videos, branded content, commercial productions, YouTube content and social media.

We want an editor who can watch unscripted footage, find the moments that matter and help us discover and build the story.

This is a salaried, part-time remote position with flexibility around when the work is completed, subject to project deadlines, meetings and agreed deliverables.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with TennMore Studios.

As our production workload grows and you demonstrate strong editing, reliability, communication and ownership of projects, there will be opportunities for:
-Increased monthly salary
-Increased hours and responsibilities
-Transition to a higher-capacity part-time role
-Potential transition to a full-time salaried position

This is intended to become a long-term relationship — not a collection of one-off freelance jobs.

FINAL CUT PRO IS REQUIRED. Our post-production workflow is built around Final Cut Pro.

Applicants should already have meaningful experience working in Final Cut Pro, including:
-Libraries, Events and Projects
-Multicam editing
-Compound clips
-Roles and keywords
-Proxy workflows
-Media relinking
-XML export/import
-Organized project handoff

Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Motion, After Effects or other post-production software is welcome, but Final Cut Pro is our primary editing environment.

WHAT YOU'LL EDIT

Projects may include:
-Documentary interviews and scenes
-Sports documentary footage
-Behind-the-scenes content
-Music videos
-Artist interviews
-Commercial and branded content
-Sponsorship stories
-YouTube videos
-Instagram Reels and other social cutdowns
-Multicamera productions

Some projects may involve hours of unscripted interviews and B-roll. We need someone capable of finding compelling moments and building a coherent story, not simply waiting for us to provide exact edit points.

EDITING SKILLS

You should be comfortable with:
-Documentary and interview storytelling
-Multicam editing
-External audio synchronization
-Dialogue cleanup and leveling
-EQ and compression
-Music selection and music ducking
-Room tone, ambience and environmental sound design
-Basic color correction and grading
-LUT application
-Camera matching
-Sony S-Log3 / Rec.709 workflows
-Titles and basic graphics
-Captions
-Horizontal and vertical deliverables
-Social-media cutdowns
-Proxy workflows
-Organized project and media management

Experience using AI-assisted editing tools to accelerate transcription, footage search, rough assemblies, captions or clip discovery is welcome. We view AI as an editing assistant, not a replacement for editorial judgment.

COMMUNICATION & EQUIPMENT

Strong English communication is important.

Because this is a remote editing position, applicants should have:
-A Mac capable of professionally editing Final Cut Pro projects
-Reliable high-speed internet
-Adequate local storage
-Ability to download/upload proxy media and project assets
-Ability to participate in video meetings with our team

We are particularly interested in:
-Documentary, interview or human-interest storytelling

-Music videos, sports or social content

HIRING PROCESS

Our process will include:
Application → Portfolio Review → Video Interview → Paid Editing Test for Selected Finalists → Final Selection

Selected finalists will receive the same TennMore footage and creative brief for a paid editing test.

We are not looking for free work.

The test allows us to see how you approach real footage, storytelling, organization, audio, color and creative decisions. It gives you an opportunity to experience the kind of work TennMore produces.

Finalists may also be asked to provide their Final Cut Pro project/XML so we can evaluate project organization and handoff.

Approximately 10 hours/week. We can discuss in excess of that.
