HIRING: AI Video Editor for 8-Figure DTC Brand

$2,000–$3,000/mo base + uncapped bonuses on every winning ad

Last Q4 my brand did 8 figures. I had no creative team. Just me. That worked right up until it became the ceiling. I'm going for 8 fig months this year and creative volume is the only thing in the way. So I'm hiring one hungry AI video editor, and giving them everything I know.

Why this role
- Direct access to founder. No managers. Me.
- You'll come in as an editor and grow out of it. I hold nothing back on the strategy side: why one ad prints for six months, why the next never clears the test budget. As you take on more of the thinking, the pay moves with it.

What separates the editor I hire
- You are deliberate with the visuals you choose for each line in the script. Not one that vaguely aligns
- You'll improve a brief and tell me why. I'd rather get "I changed the second scene, here's the reason" than a clean execution of a scene that was going to underperform.
- Real direct response Meta ads for DTC brands.

The work
- Edit 8–12 meta ads/week across major direct response format: Short-form ads, AI UGC, mini VSLs, emotional storytelling, Pixar-style animation, fully AI-generated creatives.
- Iterate fast off performance feedback. Every week in the ad account together: what won, what died, why.

Compensation
- $2,000–$3,000/month base, depending on skill
- Uncapped bonuses - a winner keeps paying you as long as it keeps spending profitably
- All AI tools paid for by us
