JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, organized Virtual Assistant to support day-to-day operations across outreach, social media, and research. This is a varied role — you'll move between lead research and outreach, posting and engagement on our social accounts, and administrative/reporting tasks depending on what's active that week. It's a good fit for someone who likes variety, can manage several types of tasks without losing track of details, and is comfortable working independently once given direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and build targeted lead/contact lists for outreach campaigns
Run outreach campaigns (e.g., event exhibitor outreach) via contact forms and email
Post and engage on our social accounts (X/Twitter and Reddit)
Track outreach, leads, and social activity in shared spreadsheets
Support research projects (competitor research, event/opportunity research, platform/tool research)
Assist with reporting and light administrative work tied to campaigns

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Check and respond to outreach-related follow-ups
Post on X/Twitter and log in to engage on Reddit
Update lead lists and tracking sheets with new information (e.g., logos, contact details, statuses)
Research relevant events, directories, or competitor sites as assigned
Join team meetings as needed

Social Media Responsibilities:

Regular posting on our X/Twitter account
Ongoing login and engagement on our Reddit account
Occasional social engagement tied to active campaigns (e.g., exhibitor outreach periods)
Assist with basic content editing and formatting for social media posts and other marketing materials
Review content for clarity, grammar, formatting, and consistency before publishing
Make minor edits or adjustments to existing content as needed
Note: this is not a full-time social media manager role — social tasks are one part of a broader mix of responsibilities

B2B Outreach & Lead Generation:

Research and export leads (e.g., from Vtiger) by category or target list
Build and maintain targeted lists (e.g., real estate agencies, exhibitors, industry contacts)
Submit outreach via contact forms/email using established scripts
Research competitors, directories, and relevant platforms to find new lead sources
Track outreach progress and follow-ups in shared sheets

Administrative / Research Support:

Organize and update data (e.g., company logos, contact lists, lead statuses)
Support light QA/testing tasks as assigned
Help compile campaign reports (e.g., event outreach recap reports)
Attend and take notes in team/status meetings

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience with online research and building organized lists/spreadsheets
Experience with B2B outreach or lead generation
Comfortable posting on and managing a brand's social accounts (X/Twitter, Reddit)
Strong written communication
Able to work independently and manage multiple task types in the same day
Comfortable working from scripts/templates while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Skills:

Prior experience with Vtiger or another CRM
Experience researching and compiling data from multiple sources (directories, competitor sites, Facebook groups)
Experience supporting event-related outreach (e.g., trade show/exhibitor outreach)
Comfortable creating simple reports summarizing campaign activity

Contact forms and email for outreach
Google Sheets (tracking, reporting)
