JOB OVERVIEW

Hi! We're looking for a talented Video Editor to join our fantastic team in the Philippines.

There are currently five people on the team based in the Philippines: three focused primarily on social media, a graphic designer, and a full-stack developer. We work hard, collaborate extremely well, and have a genuinely fun and supportive culture. We do great work, but we also believe in living great lives.

Now we want to add someone who can take our video content to the next level.

** What You'll Do **

We produce a lot of short-form video content for social media. Right now, the content is good, but the editing is pretty amateur. We want you to change that.

You'll help us:

- Edit short-form social media videos
- Improve pacing, cuts, captions, graphics, and transitions
- Optimize audio and video quality
- Develop a consistent, professional style for our videos
- Collaborate with our graphic designer on branding and visual assets
- Help us improve how we record content so it's easier to create great finished videos

In the future, we'll also be producing longer-form educational content and online courses that will require professional video editing and sound optimization.

** What We're Looking For **

We're less concerned about which software you use and more concerned about whether you're really good at editing video. You should have a strong portfolio and experience with professional editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools. Experience with Canva, Figma, iMovie, and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is creative, dependable, communicates well, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a team.

** How We Work **

We're a remote team and primarily use Google Workspace, Google Chat, and Google Meet. We also use Canva extensively, while our design and development team works in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Although we work remotely, we also like spending time together in person. We typically organize two team retreats each year in the Philippines where we can work, brainstorm, eat, laugh, and have some fun together.

** The Opportunity **

We'd like you to start part-time, giving both you and us a chance to make sure we're a great fit for each other. If things go well, we anticipate this could become a full-time position beginning January 1, 2027. This isn't intended to be a short-term freelance gig. We're hoping to find someone who can become a long-term member of our team.

Full-time team members also receive 13th-month pay.
