# Outbound Appointment Setter – HVAC | Excellent English Required

We are a growing U.S.-based HVAC company looking for a confident and reliable **Outbound Appointment Setter** to join our team.

Your primary responsibility will be calling homeowners from our provided lead lists, having natural conversations, identifying potential HVAC needs, and scheduling qualified appointments for our team to provide an HVAC estimate.

## MOST IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT: SPOKEN ENGLISH

**Excellent spoken English is required for this position.**

You must speak fluent, natural, easy-to-understand English with **clear, neutral pronunciation**.

You will be speaking directly with homeowners in the United States, so your ability to communicate clearly, naturally, and confidently over the phone is extremely important.

**A voice recording is REQUIRED with your application. Applications without a voice recording will not be considered.**

## What You'll Do

* Make outbound calls to homeowners using our provided lead lists
* Follow our calling script while still sounding natural and conversational
* Identify homeowners who may need HVAC replacement or service
* Ask qualifying questions
* Handle basic objections
* Schedule qualified appointments for HVAC estimates
* Accurately record call outcomes and appointment information
* Consistently work toward daily and weekly appointment goals
* Follow up with prospects when necessary

## What We're Looking For

* Excellent, fluent spoken English
* Clear, neutral, easy-to-understand pronunciation
* Confident and professional phone presence
* Previous outbound calling, telemarketing, call center, or appointment-setting experience
* Experience speaking with U.S. customers strongly preferred
* Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
* Comfortable speaking with homeowners who were not expecting your call
* Able to follow scripts while still sounding conversational
* Good objection-handling skills
* Coachable and willing to improve
* Reliable and consistent
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Quality headset and quiet working environment
* Ability to work during U.S. business hours

HVAC or home-services experience is a plus but **not required**.

We can teach you HVAC. Strong English communication, confidence, reliability, and phone presence are the most important qualities we're looking for.

## Compensation

**Base Pay: $5 USD/hour**

PLUS:

**$10 USD for every appointment you schedule that results in a completed HVAC estimate.**

There is **no cap on appointment bonuses.**

The more qualified appointments you schedule that complete an estimate, the more you can earn.

### Example Earnings

At 40 hours per week:

* Base Pay: $200/week
* 10 completed estimates: +$100
* 20 completed estimates: +$200
* 30 completed estimates: +$300

**Important:** The $10 bonus is earned when the homeowner completes the scheduled HVAC estimate with our team — not simply when an appointment is placed on the calendar.

We care about **quality appointments, not just quantity.**

Strong performers will have opportunities for increased compensation and additional responsibility.

## Schedule

This position requires working during **U.S. business hours**.

You must be dependable and available consistently during your scheduled hours.

## HOW TO APPLY

### Voice Recording Instructions

In your recording:

**First:** Introduce yourself and tell us briefly about your previous calling experience.

**Second:** Explain why you believe you would be good at speaking with U.S. homeowners.

**Third:** Pretend you are making an outbound call and read the following:

“Hi, this is [Your Name] calling with our local heating and air team. I know I'm calling you out of the blue, but we're reaching out to homeowners in your area regarding their heating and cooling systems. I just wanted to ask you a couple of quick questions and see if we might be able to help. How old would you say your current HVAC system is?”

We will evaluate your:

* Spoken English
* Pronunciation and clarity
* Confidence
* Conversational ability
* Phone presence
* Ability to sound natural rather than simply reading a script

**Applications without a voice recording will not be considered.**

We're looking for someone who wants a **long-term position**, is motivated by performance, and wants the opportunity to earn more as they produce results.
