JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Loan Processor
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
Work Arrangement: Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
Base Salary: $500 per month
Per-Closed-File Bonus: $100 for every closed file
Expected Volume: Approximately 5–10 loans per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Loan Processor to join our team in a full-time, remote W-2 position. The ideal candidate has strong experience with non-delegated correspondent lending and understands the full loan process from initial review through closing.

This position is not only responsible for processing loans efficiently and accurately but will also play an important role in training and supporting junior processors.

Key Responsibilities
Process approximately 5–10 loans per month from initial review through closing.
Conduct thorough initial loan reviews and identify missing or outstanding documentation.
Prepare and manage required loan disclosures.
Process loans in accordance with lender and investor requirements.
Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, lenders, and other parties throughout the loan process.
Review loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Track conditions and ensure outstanding items are addressed promptly.
Coordinate files through processing and closing.
Maintain accurate and organized loan documentation.
Help identify and resolve issues that could delay closing.
Train and mentor junior loan processors on proper processing procedures and best practices.
Help establish efficient workflows and maintain consistent processing standards.
Required Experience
Previous experience as a Loan Processor is required.
Strong experience with non-delegated correspondent lending.
Hands-on experience with:
Initial loan review
Disclosures
Loan processing
Conditions
Closing
Strong understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle.
Ability to independently manage multiple loan files.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Previous experience training or mentoring junior processors is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
$500 per month W-2 base salary
$100 bonus for every closed file
Approximately 5–10 loans per month
Fully remote position
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
