JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented virtual assistant to help me submit software engineering internship applications.

I am a computer science student applying for Summer 2027 internships in the United States. I have already submitted more than 300 applications and have built my own web-based system for managing the process.

I already handle:

Finding and qualifying jobs
Choosing which jobs are worth applying to
Generating the correct resume for each role
Tracking application status
Generating draft responses for custom application questions

I primarily need someone to handle the repetitive application submission work.

Responsibilities
Check the application queue in my system
Open the provided job application link
Complete application forms accurately using information I provide
Upload the resume generated for that specific job
Apply through Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, company career sites, and similar platforms
Use my provided AI tool when custom application questions appear
Follow my instructions for common application questions
Update the application status after submission

Most jobs will already be selected and prepared before you begin.

Speed and Volume

I am targeting competitive software engineering internships, so applying quickly matters.

Ideally, applications should be completed within 24 hours of the job being added to my queue.

Once you are familiar with the process, I am looking for someone who can work efficiently and handle a high volume of straightforward applications while maintaining accuracy.

Hours
Approximately 1 to 2 hours per day
Around 5 days per week
Flexible working hours
Some days may have more or less work depending on available jobs
Pay

$4 USD per hour

This is a temporary part-time position and will likely last a few months, until I secure a Summer 2027 internship.

Requirements
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written English
Reliable communication
Comfortable following detailed instructions and SOPs
Comfortable working with repetitive online forms
Able to learn a custom web application quickly
Comfortable using AI tools as part of a workflow
Prior experience with Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, job applications, or data entry is a plus

Accuracy is more important than speed at the beginning. I would rather have applications completed correctly than rushed.

If we work well together, there may also be opportunities for additional general virtual assistant work in the future.
