JOB OVERVIEW

Real Estate Assistant


We are seeking an organized and responsive remote assistant to support a U.S.-based commercial real estate portfolio. This role will work closely with the Real Estate Manager to keep property information accurate, respond to tenants and leasing prospects, maintain AppFolio records, and ensure inquiries and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.

Key responsibilities:
-Maintain and Monitor accurate availability and occupancy information for commercial spaces.
-Update and audit approved property listings across online platforms.
-Monitor property-related inboxes, listing inquiries, and assigned communication channels.
-Respond professionally to prospective tenants using approved information and templates.
-Record, organize, and follow up with leasing leads.
-Answer routine tenant questions and acknowledge complaints.
-Create and update service requests and escalate urgent or sensitive matters.
-Maintain accurate records, notes, contacts, and documents in AppFolio.
-Prepare concise updates on listings, leads, open tenant issues, and required management decisions.
-Support the Real Estate Manager with related online administrative work.

Required qualifications:
-Two or more years of relevant property-management, real estate, and leasing support.
-Excellent written and spoken English.
-Strong organization, accuracy, follow-through, and professional judgment.
-Ability to communicate calmly with tenants and prospects.
-Reliable computer, secure workspace, stable internet, backup connectivity, and availability for the required U.S. time-zone overlap.

-Commercial property-management experience, listing-platform experience, maintenance coordination, CRM experience, and familiarity with U.S. leasing terminology are preferred.

-This is a support position. The assistant will not independently negotiate lease terms, approve applicants, authorize spending, interpret leases, or make legal or financial commitments.


Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST

Compensation: USD $1,000–$1,300 per month, based on relevant experience
