JOB OVERVIEW

The Guiding Star Solutions LLC is a professional services company dedicated to providing reliable administrative and financial support, including bookkeeping and accounting services. We empower our clients with accurate financial insights, greater clarity, and streamlined processes that support efficiency and informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Provide accounting and clerical support including updating trackers and monitoring sheets
Record daily transactions, including invoices, payments, and bank statements
Manage accounts receivables, including partner maintenance, billing, and credit processing
Process accounts payables, including payment processing, authorization, and release
Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate data entries
Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and other related reports, as needed by the client
Maintain organized records, update files in storage, and comply with accounting principles
Perform email and chat management and handle client inquiries

Qualifications
A graduate of accounting or business-related courses is preferred
At least 1-3 bookkeeping and/or accounting experience is preferred.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounting software is a plus (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.)
Strong organizational and time management ability with a high attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills, preferably with North American client
experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Has a work-from-home set-up (personal device, stable internet connection,
noise-canceling headset preferred)
Experience with Keller Williams is a plus.
