Client Success Manager — Digital Marketing Agency

ABOUT THE ROLE
Nexta Talent is recruiting for a confidential digital marketing agency client. This is an ongoing remote independent-contractor engagement for an experienced Client Success Manager who can manage 13–20 client accounts, coordinate cross-channel delivery, and keep clients informed about priorities and results.

You will work with the Account Director to guide client communication, coordinate delivery, manage risks, and protect strong client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead regular client communication, set clear expectations, and follow through on commitments.
- Coordinate delivery across SEO, local SEO, Google Ads, websites, conversion rate optimization (CRO), automation, and CRM.
- Keep priorities, owners, risks, dependencies, and next steps clear across 13–20 active accounts.
- Explain campaign performance in plain language and connect marketing results to practical business decisions.
- Spot client concerns and retention risks early, then coordinate a clear response.
- Handle escalations with sound judgment when delivery problems affect client trust.
- Identify account-expansion opportunities when they fit the client's goals and needs.
- Keep accurate account notes, action items, and follow-up in project-management and CRM systems.

REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of client-facing experience at a digital marketing agency.
- Experience managing approximately 13–20 active client accounts.
- Working knowledge of SEO, local SEO, Google Ads, websites, CRO, automation, and CRM systems.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Experience setting client expectations, leading meetings, documenting decisions, and managing follow-up.
- Sound judgment when priorities compete or delivery issues require escalation.
- Ability to explain marketing performance to business owners in clear, practical terms.
- Availability for 35–40 hours/week, including consistent overlap from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. ET.
- Ability to work remotely as an independent contractor.

COMPENSATION AND TERMS
- Base: USD $1,700–$2,500/month.
- Expansion commission may be available. The formula and eligibility details will be supplied separately before engagement.
- Ongoing independent-contractor engagement.
- Remote; international candidates are welcome.
- The first 60 days are a mutual evaluation period.

SELECTION PROCESS
After application review, some candidates may receive an unpaid 20–30 minute fictional exercise. It cannot produce commercially usable work and does not involve a real client. Candidates who continue may complete a structured interview, followed by a reference check for finalists.
