JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a software developer who has embraced the major shift happening in software development over the last 1–2 years.

We are not specifically looking for the developer with the most years of traditional programming experience. We are looking for someone who has learned how to use modern AI development tools to build good software faster and more effectively. We have incorpoirated these systems fully into our process, and we with that we need team members that also know what Codex, Claude or Cursor are and how to use them

If your development workflow still looks basically the same as it did three years ago, this probably isn't the right role.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

* Uses AI coding tools as a core part of their everyday development workflow
* Has hands-on experience with tools such as **OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot**, or similar
* Knows how to give AI enough context to work effectively within a larger codebase
* Can use AI to investigate existing systems, build features, refactor code, debug issues and write tests
* Understands when to trust AI-generated code—and when not to
* Can move quickly from an idea or specification to working software
* Is comfortable working across different technologies rather than being locked into one framework
* Understands Git, APIs, databases, frontend/backend development and normal software engineering fundamentals
* Is interested in experimenting with agents, MCP, automation and emerging AI development workflows

What We Don't Care About

You don't need 10+ years of experience.

You don't need to have spent your entire career specializing in one framework.

Someone with 2–5 years of development experience who has become extremely effective with AI-assisted development may be much more interesting to us than someone with 15 years of experience who hasn't adapted their workflow.

The Work

You'll work on real client software projects and internal products, including:

* Web applications
* Business operations software
* APIs and integrations
* Internal tools
* AI-enabled applications and workflows
* Existing systems that need to be understood, improved or rebuilt

Our projects vary, so being able to quickly understand an unfamiliar codebase or technology is important.

The Person We're Looking For

You are probably a good fit if you've found yourself thinking:

**“AI has completely changed the way I develop software.”**

You experiment with new tools as they appear. You've figured out workflows that allow you to accomplish significantly more than you could through traditional development alone.
