Lead cross-functional communication and conduct in-depth analytical reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper approval of material financial items.
Manage the local controllership function, providing oversight and guidance to FinOps teams across P2P, R2R, O2C, Tax, Audit, Fixed Assets, and Consolidation.
Ensure timely and accurate US GAAP/IFRS accounting, month-end close, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations by leveraging offshore resources.
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close and consolidation, including review of management and statutory reporting packages.
Review and approve payment proposals prepared by FinOps, including procure-to-pay and intercompany settlements.
Act as primary point of contact for local banking and treasury matters, coordinating with local banks and group treasury; approve payroll, intercompany transactions, and other critical payments.
Manage cash flow planning and cash management to ensure liquidity and operational continuity.
Lead statutory reporting, tax accounting, and audit processes, coordinating with FinOps teams, internal auditors, external auditors, and tax agents to meet regulatory deadlines.
Manage and support local Board of Directors (BOD) requirements, including financial documentation and compliance matters.
Review and approve fixed asset and lease accounting in compliance with accounting standards.
Champion process standardization and efficiency initiatives, consulting on global process design and continuous improvement.
Support business stakeholders, including language-dependent and regional requirements.
Perform additional administrative and ad hoc responsibilities, including statutory document filing and associate offboarding approvals.
