JOB OVERVIEW

NOW HIRING: Medical Biller VA – Behavioral Health / Autism (Remote | Full-Time)

We are looking for an experienced Medical Virtual Assistant to support a Behavioral Health / Autism clinic. This role will handle both Billing and Front Desk responsibilities, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable managing administrative tasks while also supporting the clinic’s revenue cycle.

Position Details
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Work Setup: Remote
• Rate: $5–$6/hour, based on experience
• Paid U.S. Holidays

Clinic Details
• Specialty: Behavioral Health / Autism
• EHR/EMR: Hi Rasmus
• Phone System: iPlum

Key Responsibilities
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding claims
• Handle billing processes related to ABA services
• Verify patient insurance and eligibility
• Process and follow up on prior authorizations
• Answer and manage incoming/outgoing phone calls
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Follow up with patients and insurance companies as needed

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience working in Behavioral Health, Autism, or ABA services
• Experience with medical billing and Accounts Receivable
• Strong understanding of insurance verification and prior authorization
• Front desk experience handling phones and scheduling
• Familiarity with Hi Rasmus is a strong advantage

We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and experienced who can confidently support both the front desk and billing side of the clinic.
