JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled 2D Animator / Illustrator who can create end‑to‑end animated sequences without using AI tools. You will be responsible for designing original characters, props, and environments from scratch and bringing them to life in polished 2D animations synced tightly with audio and dialogue.

You should be comfortable owning the full creative pipeline: starting from a script or rough idea, designing character sets and visual assets, storyboarding key moments, animating scenes, and exporting final videos ready for use in our product and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

- Create fully original 2D characters, props, and backgrounds from scratch (no AI generation).

- Design consistent character sets, expressions, and poses suitable for animation.

- Animate characters, UI elements, and scenes with smooth motion, strong timing, and clear acting.

- Perform accurate lip sync to voiceover and dialogue, ensuring mouth shapes and expressions match the audio.

- Take scripts, rough concepts, or voice tracks and turn them into finished, production‑ready animations.

- Prepare and organize project files so they are easy to update and reuse.

Requirements

- Strong portfolio of 2D character animation and illustration created manually (no AI tools).

- Ability to design characters, props, and scenes in a consistent visual style.

- Proven experience with frame‑by‑frame or rig‑based 2D animation and lip sync.

- Proficiency with tools like After Effects, Toon Boom, TVPaint, or similar 2D animation software.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow timing and beats in audio.

- Reliable, responsive, and able to work independently with clear deadlines.
