B2B APPOINTMENT SETTER — CANADIAN RECRUITMENT AGENCY (REMOTE / WORK FROM HOME)
ABOUT US
Talione is a boutique recruitment agency headquartered in Toronto, Canada, placing professionals with clients across Canada — from supply chain, finance, and IT to engineering, insurance, and sales leadership. Our outreach team connects with Canadian companies that are actively hiring and introduces them to our services.
We are a small, tight team. You will work directly with our Managing Director, not through five layers of management.
THE ROLE
Make outbound calls to Canadian companies with live job openings — we provide the leads, scripts, and tools
Introduce Talione, handle objections, and close for the next step on every call: a 15-minute intro meeting between the hiring manager and our Recruitment Manager
Send follow-up
Submit a short end-of-day report of your calls and results
SCHEDULE
100% remote, work from home
Canadian business hours — approximately 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM Manila time (shifts by one hour when Canada changes for daylight saving)
Flexible part-time or full-time — you set your hours with us, minimum 20 hours per week
We ask for consistency: pick your hours and keep them, so we can plan coverage
COMPENSATION & GROWTH
Base hourly rate + commission, with performance incentives for every qualified meeting you book — full pay structure discussed at interview
Paid weekly via Wise, moving to bi-weekly once you are established with us
There is a short paid evaluation period at the start. Clear the bar and your rate goes up
Full training provided: call scripts, training videos, live call shadowing with senior reps, and group coaching
Top performers move up to senior rates and higher commission, plus a bonus on every client contract that comes from your meetings
This is an independent contractor engagement. You invoice us, you control your own schedule, and you are responsible for your own local taxes and contributions
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Consistent dial volume through your shift — you are on the phone, not on the CRM
Qualified meetings booked and, more importantly, meetings that show up
Never leaving a call with nothing: an
CRM notes clean enough that anyone on the team can pick up your conversation
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Real sales experience — this is a closing role. We want people who can point to deals closed and targets hit
Background in outbound sales, B2B sales, cold calling, or appointment setting. B2B outbound specifically — inbound customer service or general BPO support experience on its own is not what we are after
A strong, confident communicator in English — persuasive with HR managers and executives, and comfortable being challenged on a call
An active LinkedIn profile is required. Your profile must show your real name, photo, and work history, and it must match your CV. We check every applicant. No LinkedIn, or a profile that does not line up with your application, means we cannot move forward
Comfortable in a CRM, a dialer, and Google Workspace — or quick enough to learn them in your first week
Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by results
HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS
Reliable high-speed internet — minimum 25 Mbps, wired connection preferred
Backup internet (mobile data or pocket WiFi) and a backup power plan for brownouts
Your own computer and a noise-cancelling headset with a clear microphone
A quiet, private workspace — no background noise, no roosters, no family in the room. Hiring managers hang up on noise
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
You are uncomfortable being told "no" thirty times before lunch
You are looking for a second job to run quietly in the background of another shift
You want a guaranteed salary with no accountability for results
HOW TO APPLY
Send us the following:
Your CV or résumé
A link to your LinkedIn profile
A 60-second voice recording (audio or video is fine) introducing yourself as if you were opening a cold call to a Canadian hiring manager. This is the fastest way to move to the top of our list
One line on the best result you have ever produced in a sales role — a number, not a description
