Job Overview

We are seeking a creative, highly organized, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer Virtual Assistant (VA) to support our student recruitment, marketing, branding, and communications initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging visual content, social media graphics, advertising materials, and marketing assets that help attract prospective students and strengthen our brand presence. The successful candidate will work closely with our admissions, recruitment, and marketing teams to develop professional and compelling visual communications.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Creative Production
• Design professional marketing materials including flyers, brochures, posters, banners, advertisements, and promotional materials.
• Create engaging social media graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Design recruitment and enrollment campaign materials.
• Create event marketing materials for campus events, open houses, graduation ceremonies, and community outreach initiatives.
• Develop presentation decks, infographics, and branded documents.
• Design print-ready and digital marketing assets.

Social Media & Content Design
• Create graphics, reels, story templates, and promotional content for social media campaigns.
• Assist with maintaining content calendars and campaign schedules.
• Design visual content that supports student recruitment and brand awareness initiatives.
• Ensure consistency across all social media and marketing channels.

Digital Marketing Support
• Create graphics for Facebook Ads, Google Ads, display advertising, and email marketing campaigns.
• Design landing page graphics and website promotional materials.
• Support lead generation and student recruitment campaigns through compelling visual design.
• Collaborate with marketing team members to improve campaign performance through creative assets.

Website & Branding
• Create and optimize website graphics and digital assets.
• Support website updates using WordPress and basic HTML.
• Maintain brand consistency across all campuses and marketing materials.
• Organize and manage design templates and brand assets.

AI & Creative Tools
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, and similar platforms to improve workflow efficiency.
• Generate creative concepts, content ideas, and visual assets using AI-assisted tools when appropriate.
• Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices.

Administrative Support
• Organize and maintain digital files, templates, and design assets.
• Assist with document formatting and PDF editing.
• Support various marketing, recruitment, and administrative projects as required.
• Maintain accurate records of completed projects and design requests.

Qualifications
Experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, digital marketing, content creation, or a related field.
• Experience designing marketing materials for education, recruitment, or service-based organizations is considered an asset.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and creative work.

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Canva.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Adobe Firefly, and Canva AI.
• Experience with WordPress and basic HTML.
• Understanding of social media marketing and digital advertising.
• Strong knowledge of typography, layout, branding, and visual communication principles.
• Experience creating both digital and print-ready materials.

Communication & Professional Skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Technical Requirements
• Reliable computer or laptop capable of running graphic design software.

Schedule
