JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
Do you love building relationships with the media and telling stories that get noticed? We are hiring a Outreach Specialist (French speaker) to grow our presence across the French market. You will connect with journalists and publishers in France, craft compelling pitches in your native French, and land the kind of coverage that gets a brand talked about. This role suits a fluent French speaker who knows the French media world and enjoys the art of the pitch.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture relationships with French journalists, editors, and media contacts
- Craft personalized, native-level French pitches that stand out in a crowded inbox
- Research and maintain up-to-date media lists of relevant French outlets
- Win press features, coverage, and placements across French media
- Stay on top of follow-ups to keep conversations moving and boost responses
- Spot fresh outreach angles and opportunities that fit each campaign
- Shape messaging so it lands naturally with French readers and editors
- Keep records of contacts, pitches, and wins, and report on how campaigns perform

Mandatory Skills:
- Native or fluent French, spoken and written, to pitch French media convincingly
- Good working English for coordinating with the team and sharing updates
- A track record in PR, outreach, or digital PR
- Genuine familiarity with the media landscape inside France
- Strong, persuasive writing and pitching ability in French
- Comfort building and organizing media and contact lists
- Dependable, thorough, and happy working with minimal supervision
- Clear communicator with strong organizational habits

Preferred Skills:
- A background in digital PR or link building
- An understanding of SEO and how coverage supports online growth
- Experience with outreach platforms like Pitchbox, BuzzStream, or similar
- The ability to juggle multiple campaigns without dropping the ball
- Time spent inside an agency or in-house PR team
