JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing supplement brand looking for a highly proactive and organized Product Development Project Manager to help manage product development projects from concept through production.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, follows up aggressively, stays organized, and does not wait to be told what to do next.

You will work directly with our Operations Manager, founders, supplement manufacturers, flavor houses, ingredient suppliers, packaging suppliers, labs, and other vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing improvements to existing supplement products, including flavors, formulas, ingredients, texture, and packaging
Coordinating flavor-development projects and multiple rounds of product samples
Tracking formulas, sample versions, feedback, costs, and approvals
Organizing consumer taste tests and gathering structured product feedback
Communicating feedback and reformulation requests to manufacturers and flavor houses
Managing new supplement products from initial brief through samples, packaging, and commercial production
Following up with manufacturers and suppliers until outstanding items are resolved
Requesting quotes, MOQs, lead times, samples, specifications, and certifications
Sourcing new supplement manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, packaging vendors, flavor houses, and eventually 3PL partners
Comparing suppliers and presenting organized recommendations to leadership
Managing packaging projects including bottles, pouches, sachets, caps, labels, cartons, and other components
Maintaining product-development timelines, trackers, and next actions
Identifying delays and potential problems before they impact production

We are NOT looking for someone who simply sends an email and waits for a response.

If a supplier does not respond, we expect you to follow up, call, find another contact, and continue working toward a solution.

The ideal candidate is extremely proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable communicating with US-based businesses.

Experience in supplements, food/beverage, CPG, manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, packaging, or product development is strongly preferred.

Strong written and spoken English is required.

Most important trait: PROACTIVITY.

You should constantly be asking:
“What needs to happen next to move this project forward?”
