JOB OVERVIEW

Hey there!

We're looking for a graphic designer for ongoing Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns.
The biggest thing we're looking for is someone who can study our previous designer's work and match that same level of quality.

1. Review Our Previous Designer's Work
Please review the graphics in the folder below:
Previous Designer Examples:

Pay attention to:
Layout and composition
Typography
Text hierarchy
Colors and branding
Image placement
Effects and graphics
Overall polish

If hired, you'll be working with several different clients, so it's important that you can adapt your designs to each client's branding.

That means understanding how to use their colors, fonts, logos, photos, and overall visual style while maintaining the quality of our existing ads.

2. Your Test Project

For this test, I want you to REMAKE ONE GRAPHIC FROM EACH ABOVE FOLDER (TWO IMAGES IN TOTAL).

You can choose any roofing company you find online to use for the remake.

Keep the same words, offer, and overall design/layout from our example, but redesign it for the roofing company you selected.
For example, if their branding uses blue and white, your version should use their blue and white.

Use that company's:
Logo
Brand colors
Fonts or similar fonts
Photos/images when available
Overall branding

The goal is to show us that you can take an existing design and adapt it to a completely different company's brand while maintaining the same quality.

PLEASE CREATE ONE IMAGE FROM EACH OF OUR EXAMPLE FOLDERS. CHOOSE THE ONES THAT ALLOW YOU TO DEMONSTRATE YOUR ABILITY THE BEST.

3. How Our Normal Projects Work
If hired, we typically create 4–6 graphics per campaign.

We'll usually provide an AI-generated mockup showing you the concept and general direction.
Your job is to turn that mockup into a polished, professional ad.

This includes:
Incorporating the client's real photos
Fixing AI mistakes
Improving typography and spacing
Correcting unrealistic details
Applying the client's actual branding
Making general design improvements

The AI mockup is a starting point, not the finished design.
We want you to use your skills as a designer to make it better.

4. Time Expectations
Most graphics should take approximately 1–3 hours per image, depending on complexity.
We're looking for quality and attention to detail, not someone rushing through designs.
If hired, this will be consistent, ongoing work across multiple clients.

TO APPLY:
Remake ONE graphic from EACH example folder using any roofing company you find online.

Use the same words and general design from our example, but adapt it to the roofing company's colors, fonts, logo, images, and branding.
