Position Overview:
We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to lead the ideation and early-stage development of new beauty and skincare brands. This is a marketing-heavy, creative role. You will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, building brand identities from the ground up, and working closely with our creatives and media buying team to test whether a brand has real demand before we go into production. You are building new brands from zero — researching the market, developing the concept, writing the brief, and validating it with real audiences.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research to identify whitespace opportunities and viable brand concepts in the beauty and skincare space
Develop brand briefs including positioning, target audience, brand personality, tone of voice, and unique selling propositions
Create compelling USPs that are distinct, marketable, and grounded in real consumer insight
Oversee the creation of creatives and copy in collaboration with our in-house creatives team, ensuring the output reflects the brand brief
Work closely with our Meta ads specialist to set up and monitor market validation tests for new brands and products
Analyze testing results and present clear recommendations on whether a brand should proceed to production
Manage multiple brands simultaneously at different stages of the development pipeline
Stay on top of beauty and skincare trends globally to inform ideation and positioning

Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in brand development, marketing strategy, or a related field
Strong understanding of brand positioning, USP development, and consumer marketing
Experience conducting market research and translating findings into brand or product concepts
Familiarity with paid social testing or performance marketing as a validation tool (Meta/Facebook ads experience is a plus)
Excellent written English — you will be writing brand briefs, copy direction, and positioning statements regularly
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing quality or missing deadlines
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment with minimal hand-holding

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in the beauty, skincare, or FMCG industry
Experience briefing and overseeing creative teams
Exposure to brand testing frameworks or go-to-market validation processes
