About the Opportunity
We're hiring on behalf of an established U.S. commercial interiors company. Their design and sales teams deliver real commercial workplace projects across the U.S., including offices, collaboration spaces, and full workplace fit-outs.

The Role
You'll be an extension of the internal design team. Day to day, you'll be working in CET Designer to produce space plans, specifications, and presentation materials that go straight to clients and installers. Some days you'll own a small project end to end. Other days you'll be supporting senior designers with rendering and presentation work on larger projects.
This is technical, accuracy-driven design work, the kind where a wrong part number or a missed clearance becomes a real problem on the install floor. If you take pride in clean, buildable, error-free drawing sets, you'll do well here.

What You'll Do
Develop space plans and furniture layouts in CET Designer
Take on small design projects independently, from initial layout through final documentation
Specify commercial furniture products, finishes, and accessories
Support internal designers with renderings, presentation boards, and client-facing visuals
Produce client proposals, bills of materials, validation packages, and installation drawings
Review specifications for accuracy, completeness, clearances, product application, and installation requirements
Revise projects based on feedback from Sales, Design, clients, and manufacturers
Maintain organized project files and follow established drawing, documentation, and quality-control standards
Communicate proactively with the U.S. team on priorities, deadlines, questions, and project status
Manage multiple projects at once and consistently hit deadlines

What We're Looking For

Required
Degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field, with a portfolio you can share
3 to 5 years of professional design experience
Completed CET Designer training and comfortable working in CET day to day
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365
Strong written English and clear, proactive communication
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
Reliable computer and internet setup capable of running CET Designer smoothly
Availability for consistent working-hour overlap with the U.S. team

Preferred
Experience with commercial interiors, contract furniture, space planning, or furniture specification
Familiarity with manufacturer-specific CET extensions (Steelcase, MillerKnoll, Haworth, Teknion, Kimball, etc.)
Experience producing SIF files, BOMs, or dealer-side documentation
Working knowledge of ADA and life-safety clearance requirements
