JOB OVERVIEW

SEO Manager / SEO Lead – Full-Time Remote

We are looking for a hands-on SEO professional to take ownership of SEO execution and help drive measurable growth in organic rankings, traffic, and leads.

This is an individual contributor role. We are looking for someone who can develop SEO strategies but is also comfortable executing the work themselves on a daily basis. Experience in health, medical, or YMYL content is highly preferred, especially for candidates with experience in highly competitive search markets.

- Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation
- Perform on-site and technical SEO improvements
- Conduct SEO audits and identify technical and content opportunities
- Optimize website pages, metadata, internal linking, and on-page elements
- Review SEO content drafts and ensure they follow SEO best practices
- Manually publish and optimize content across websites and platforms
- Build and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority
- Research and identify relevant link-building and authority development opportunities
- Manage Google Business Profile (GBP) posting and optimization activities
- Conduct portal walkthroughs and complete required SEO tasks across platforms
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, leads, and other SEO performance metrics
- Analyze SEO performance and identify areas for improvement
- Research competitors and identify opportunities to improve search visibility
- Troubleshoot SEO issues and recommend practical solutions
- Maintain consistent daily SEO execution and project priorities
- Communicate SEO progress, findings, and recommendations clearly

Requirements:
- Strong hands-on SEO experience with proven results in rankings, organic traffic, and/or leads
- Solid experience with on-site and technical SEO
- Hands-on experience with link building and authority development
- Experience with daily SEO execution and manual publishing
- Experience with Google Business Profile (GBP) posting
- Strong understanding of SEO strategy and implementation
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of SEO execution
- Comfortable working as a hands-on individual contributor

Highly Preferred:
- Health, medical, or YMYL SEO experience
- Addiction treatment or behavioral health SEO experience
- Experience working with competitive local SEO markets
- Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
- Experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
- Proven case studies or examples showing measurable SEO results

Important:
- This is a hands-on SEO execution role, not a strategy-only position
- Candidates must be comfortable personally executing SEO tasks
- We prioritize demonstrated SEO results over content creation or keyword research experience alone
- This role is not focused on automation or AI workflow engineering
