JOB OVERVIEW

EXPERIENCED V6 SOFTECH WINDOW ESTIMATOR – AUSTRALIAN WINDOWS | REMOTE

We are an established Australian window fabrication company looking for an experienced V6 Softech Window Estimator to join our estimating team on a long-term basis.

V6 SOFTECH EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL

You MUST have previous hands-on experience using V6 Softech window estimating software to be considered for this position.

This role will primarily involve quoting residential aluminium window and door projects for the Australian market.

About the Role

You will assist our team with:

* Preparing window and door quotations using V6 Softech
* Reading architectural plans, window schedules and specifications
* Completing window and door take-offs
* Entering window configurations accurately into V6
* Reviewing glass, hardware, aluminium and other requirements
* Preparing quotations for residential builders and homeowners
* Reviewing tender documentation and identifying missing information
* Communicating with our Australian estimating and sales team
* Following quotations through revisions and updates

Essential Experience

Applicants MUST have:

* Previous professional experience using V6 Softech
* Window and door estimating experience
* Ability to read and understand architectural plans
* Good understanding of window and door configurations
* Strong attention to detail
* Good written and spoken English
* Ability to work independently and meet quoting deadlines

Experience estimating Australian aluminium windows and doors will be highly regarded.

Your Work-From-Home Setup

This is a 100% remote position.

You must already have:

* Your own suitable home office or dedicated workspace
* Reliable computer capable of running the required software
* Reliable high-speed internet
* Suitable backup arrangements for internet/power interruptions
* Ability to communicate reliably during agreed working hours

Hours

This position can initially be part-time, however we expect approximately 20–30 hours per week minimum.

There is potential for the position and hours to grow for the right person.

Working hours will need to have good overlap with Australian business hours.

Salary

Salary/hourly rate will be negotiated based on your V6 experience, window industry knowledge and overall estimating capability.

We are prepared to pay appropriately for someone with strong, genuine V6 Softech experience.
