JOB OVERVIEW

I'm looking for a reliable, fast UGC video editor who can help me edit a high volume of short-form videos on an ongoing basis.

Most of the videos are very straightforward edits. These will be fairly simple edits. I will provide examples showing exactly what I'm looking for, so you will not be expected to create complicated edits from scratch.

Typical Editing Tasks

Most videos will involve:

Cutting out dead space and unnecessary pauses
Adding simple text or graphic overlays
Following an example/template that I provide
Making sure the video flows smoothly
Basic pacing and cleanup
Exporting the finished video in the correct vertical short-form format

These are primarily UGC-style videos for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

Volume

I will typically need approximately:

2–5 videos per day

Volume may change from day to day, so this is a part-time, as-needed position rather than guaranteed fixed hours. Edits for each video should not take longer than 20 to 30 minutes per video.

I'm specifically looking for someone who is comfortable working efficiently and consistently with a relatively high volume of simple videos.

Pay

Pay is $2–$3 USD per completed video, depending on how complicated the edit is. These rates are firm at this time. If you are expecting a higher rate, please do not apply. In your application, please confirm that these rates work for you.

Very simple edits: $2/video
Slightly more involved edits (but still simple): $3/video

Most edits should be relatively quick once you understand the style and workflow.

What I'm Looking For

You should:

Be comfortable editing short-form UGC videos
Be able to follow examples and instructions closely
Have a good understanding of pacing for TikTok/Reels-style content
Be comfortable with simple text and graphic overlays
Be able to remove dead space efficiently
Be reliable with communication
Be able to handle multiple videos in one day
Be comfortable receiving ongoing assignments as they become available

Experience with CapCut is needed. Also, you must have access to an Iphone or mac computer, as the Apple emojis may be needed for some of these edits.
