JOB OVERVIEW

Teach 1-2-1, New Zealand's leading online tutoring service, is expanding. We are hiring qualified teachers to give one-to-one online lessons to New Zealand students aged 5 to 18.

We pay you for 20 hours a week from your very first week — even while we are still building your timetable. You do not wait months for students before you earn a full income. Qualified teachers earn up to NZ$10 per hour, with more hours available as you grow.

Our teaching hours (Philippine time)

Monday to Friday: 10:30am to 5:00pm
Saturday: 5:00am to 12:00pm

We build your weekly timetable inside these hours, and your lessons stay at the same times each week. Please apply only if you can work these hours, including Saturday mornings.

What you need

A Bachelor of Secondary Education and a valid professional teaching licence
English, maths or a science as your major, taught confidently up to age 18
Excellent spoken and written English
20 or more hours a week inside our teaching hours
A computer, headset with microphone, reliable internet, and a quiet place to teach
