Short-Form Video Editor

We are looking for a Short-Form Video Editor to edit talking-head content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.

Your job will be to turn raw talking-head footage into fast-paced, engaging short-form videos designed to maximise retention, watch time and shares.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Cut down raw talking-head footage into concise short-form videos.
* Remove pauses and gaps between sentences so the video flows quickly and naturally.
* Remove filler words, mistakes and unnecessary sections.
* Add relevant B-roll, images and visual cutaways.
* Add appropriate sound effects.
* Add engaging captions/subtitles.
* Use zooms, cuts, graphics and pattern interrupts where appropriate.
* Keep the editing fast-paced without making it feel unnatural or over-edited.
* Edit specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
* Understand hooks, retention and what keeps viewers watching.

We specifically want to see your ability to edit short-form talking-head content, including:

* Cutting pauses between sentences

* B-roll
* Sound effects
* Fast, engaging pacing
