JOB OVERVIEW

About us We're a UK supplier of Royal Mail postage stamps with a growing base of business customers who order regularly. Our best customers are the ones who come back every month – and we want to make sure every customer becomes one of those. We need someone warm, organised and proactive to look after them.

What you'll do

Answer customer emails and eBay messages quickly and professionally (templates provided)
Resolve delivery problems, returns and queries, escalating only what needs the owner
Keep a customer list in a Google Sheet: who ordered what, when, and when they're likely to run out
Send friendly reorder reminders and special-offer emails to past customers on a schedule
Follow up with first-time buyers to ask for reviews and offer a repeat-order discount
Spot customers who've stopped ordering and reach out to win them back
Weekly report: messages handled, reviews gained, repeat orders generated

What we're looking for

1+ years in customer service or account management (email-based is ideal)
Excellent written English, friendly and clear
Very organised – you don't let follow-ups slip
Comfortable with Google Sheets and email tools like Gmail/Mailchimp
Honest, patient, and calm with the occasional frustrated customer
Bonus: eBay or e-commerce experience

Hours and pay

20–30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, overlapping [UK morning/afternoon]
$5–7 per hour depending on experience
Bonus of 50 dollars per month if repeat-order targets are hit
Paid every 2 weeks via paypal
13th month bonus after 6 months

How to apply

Put the word POSTBOX at the start of your subject line.
Tell me about a time you turned an unhappy customer into a happy one.
Task: write a short, friendly email to a business customer who ordered 500 stamps six weeks ago, reminding them we're here when they need more and offering 5% off their next order.
Tell me your available hours in UK time.

Shortlisted applicants get a paid 2-hour trial task.
