JOB OVERVIEW

I run a YouTube Shorts channel about strange and interesting internet / internet culture stories.

I need someone to find videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit and X.

This is a simple, flexible side job. You can work at any time. No previous experience is needed. Students and beginners are welcome.

You do NOT need to edit videos or write scripts.

Your job is:

1. Find an interesting video or account.
2. Find the original post and real date.
3. Explain the story in three short parts: what started, what happened next, and how it ended.
4. Paste the links to me

Old videos are welcome. A story from ---------- can still be perfect.

A good idea must have:

- A video that makes people stop scrolling.
- Something interesting happens after the first clip.
- An ending, reveal, result or consequence.
- A story that anyone can understand.

Please do not send football highlights, politics, celebrity gossip, AI videos or random funny clips with no story.

Here are three examples of the type of story I want:

1. Bread Guy - a simple internet joke later became part of his wedding:
----------

2. Burger King's advertisement went wrong because the internet changed the ending:
----------

3. A man spent months turning his running routes into an animation:
----------

Please watch all three examples before applying. Do not send these same stories.

Pay is $4 for each qualified story idea, with a maximum of seven paid ideas per week. If all seven are good and delivered on time, you receive an extra $5 bonus. Payment is sent weekly via Wise.

Chosen applicants will receive a paid $10 test.

HOW TO APPLY:

Do not send a CV or a long cover letter. Reply using exactly four numbered lines:

1. Write PURPLE BREAD.
2. What did Bread Guy use instead of a wedding cake?
3. Which of the three example stories is best, and why?
4. Link one viral clip or internet story you found yourself. Send the original/raw post from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit or X, not a commentary video. In one sentence, explain what makes it an interesting story. Older clips are welcome.

Keep your complete application under 250 words, and WITHOUT the use of AI for the whole application. Applications that ignore these instructions will not be considered.
