Must know: WordPress, on-page & technical SEO, Google Search Console, GA4, keyword/rank tracking, Google Business Profile
Type: Part-time. Start: September 15, 2026.
I'm looking for an experienced SEO specialist and WordPress specialist to support the long-term growth of a functional medicine and women's health website. This is a part-time role.
You'll be responsible for:
Migrating our WordPress site and SEO content from a site currently managed by an outside contractor to our own WordPress site, while preserving rankings, URLs, redirects, and metadata
Writing and publishing 4 SEO-optimized blog posts a month (women's health, hormones, thyroid, gut health)
Making ongoing WordPress updates: page content, titles, meta descriptions, internal links, image optimization
Making design and layout edits to improve how the site looks and feels for visitors
Running SEO audits and fixing technical issues, and monitoring site speed and performance
Managing our Google Business Profile and keeping our business info consistent across directories
Building quality backlinks using ethical SEO practices
Tracking how we compare to competitors in search rankings and AI search citations
Improving our visibility in both regular Google search and AI search tools (like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity)
Sending a monthly report: what was done, results, and what's next
I'm looking for someone with strong WordPress skills, real SEO experience, and excellent written English. You'll be communicating with me directly, so being responsive and able to explain your work clearly matters a lot. Experience with health, wellness, or YMYL websites (sites where accuracy really matters, like medical or financial sites) is a plus.
We'll start with a short paid trial before moving into ongoing work, and I'll expect a weekly check-in plus the monthly report.
To apply, send:
A short intro describing your SEO and WordPress experience
An example of a migration or SEO project you've worked on, with results if you have them
Your availability and hourly rate
Important: The very first word of your reply must be "Migration". Applications that do not start with this word will not be reviewed.
