JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a strong video editor with automotive experience, based in the Philippines (or overlapping Sydney timezone), for ongoing work.

All content is automotive-focused. We need consistent high-energy “hype reel” style edits and longer-form videos of 4WD / offroading trips. Raw footage will come from multiple camera angles. This is not just technical editing — we need someone who can creatively select the best moments, structure the story, and elevate the footage into polished, engaging content.

What you’ll be editing:
High-energy hype reels (short-form, 15–60 seconds) – frequent, same-day preferred when assets are ready
Long-form 4WD / offroading trip videos (story-driven, multi-angle footage)
Multi-cam footage – selecting the strongest angles, pacing, and sequences
Captions, sound design, basic motion graphics, colour, and audio cleanup as needed
Matching a consistent high-energy automotive style once references and brand guidelines are provided

Requirements:
Proven experience editing automotive content (cars, 4WD, offroading, motorsport, or similar high-energy vehicle footage preferred)
Strong portfolio with recent examples of both short-form hype-style edits and longer multi-cam videos
Able to creatively direct content selection — choose the best moments, build energy and flow, and structure the edit without needing frame-by-frame instructions
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus). CapCut acceptable for short-form if the quality is high
Comfortable working with multi-angle raw footage
Excellent English communication and fast response times
Reliable internet and power backup (required for same-day short-form work)
Available for ongoing work (part-time scaling to fuller hours depending on volume)
