U.S.-based law firm is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Immigration Legal Support Assistant for a full-time remote position.
Work Schedule
The position requires working on U.S. Central Time (CT):
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM CT
Saturday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM CT
Responsibilities may include:
Communicating with clients by phone,
Conducting client intake and following up with prospective and existing clients
Collecting and organizing immigration documents
Preparing immigration forms and application packets under attorney supervision
Updating client files and case-management systems
Tracking deadlines, appointments, USCIS notices, and case status
Scheduling consultations and client appointments
Preparing correspondence and administrative documents
Following up with clients regarding missing documents and information
General administrative support for the attorney
Preferred Qualifications
Your own computer with a second monitor and fast internet
A noise-free workplace. We have zero noise tolerance.
Prior experience with a law firm is strongly preferred
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to communicate professionally with clients
Comfortable learning and using law-office software and online systems
Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and quiet professional workspace
Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
Reliable availability during the required U.S. Central Time schedule
### Work Environment Requirement
* This is a remote position, but employees must be **on camera and available by live video during scheduled working hours**, except during designated breaks.
* You must have a webcam and maintain a quiet, professional home workspace suitable for continuous video availability and confidential client communications.
### Exclusive Availability During Working Hours
During scheduled working hours, you must work exclusively for our law firm and may not simultaneously perform work for or bill time to any other client.
