JOB OVERVIEW

Courtroom Footage Researcher / Clip Sourcer

We are building a YouTube channel focused on **courtroom compilations** featuring dramatic, interesting, and high-retention moments from real court proceedings.

We are looking for a researcher who can consistently find and source **high-quality courtroom footage** for our videos.

Your Role

For each video topic we provide, such as:

**“8 Defendants Who Instantly Regretted Disrespecting the Judge”**

You will research and find **10–15 strong courtroom moments** that fit the theme.

For every case, provide:

* Defendant/case name
* Short summary of what happened
* Original/full courtroom footage link
* Exact timestamps of the best moments
* Court, judge, and location when available
* Charges and final outcome/sentence
* Reliable news/article sources for context
* Approximate usable footage length
* Backup footage/source when available
* Short explanation of why the clip fits the video

Most Important Requirement

We need **actual courtroom footage**, not simply articles about something that happened in court.

You should prioritize original sources such as:

* Court livestreams and archives
* Official court/government channels
* Full hearings
* Trial streams
* Sentencing hearings
* Local news footage
* Other legitimate original sources

You may use channels such as Law&Crime or Court TV to **discover cases**, but whenever possible, you should trace the footage back to the best/original source rather than simply giving us another compilation channel.

Types of Moments We're Looking For

Examples include:

* Defendants shocked by their sentences
* Judges losing patience
* Courtroom outbursts
* Defendants disrespecting judges
* Defendants crying or begging
* Defendants laughing before sentencing
* Contempt of court
* Bond being revoked
* Sovereign citizen arguments
* Emotional victim-impact statements
* Defendants attacking attorneys or courtroom staff
* Unexpected confessions or admissions
* Killers reacting to life sentences
* Defendants caught lying in court

Goal

We want to build a large internal Courtroom Clip Database containing hundreds of strong moments that can later be organized into themed 20–30 minute YouTube compilations.

The ideal researcher is someone who is excellent at internet research, can watch long court proceedings to find short high-value moments, pays close attention to detail, and can consistently uncover footage that other channels haven't overused.
