Hi! I run a online shop selling personalized physical party products. Printed paper goods and drinkware that customers personalize with their own names, dates and text.
Important: these are physical printed products, not digital downloads. Every file you make goes to a real printer, so accuracy and correct print files matter a lot.
I am looking for one person to help me with two things:
1. Order processing (the daily work)
When an order comes in, you open the design template and personalize it. Names, dates, text, colors, font choices, exactly as the customer ordered. Most orders are simple edits, nothing complicated. What matters most is accuracy: correct spelling, correct colors, correct placement, correct file setup. A typo on a printed order costs me money and a bad review.
2. Design support
This is a mix of creative and practical work:
• Adjusting and adapting existing designs into new versions
• Placing designs into mockup templates I have already made
• Preparing listing photos for my shop
• Creating new designs and design variations when we launch new products
So it is not all big creative work. A good part of it is careful, consistent production work. I need someone who is happy doing both.
What I am looking for:
• Strong Canva skills (this is my main tool, please tell me your level honestly)
• Good eye for typography, spacing and layout. Clean, modern, elegant celebration style
• Excellent attention to detail and correct English spelling
• Understands print files: correct sizes, 300 DPI, bleed, PNG and PDF export
• Reliable, and communicates clearly. If something in an order is unclear, you ask me instead of guessing
Bonus (not required):
• Illustration skills, hand drawn or digital
• Photoshop or Illustrator
• Experience with Etsy or other online shops
Details:
• Hours: around 4 hours per day to start, with room to grow
• Long term position. I want to build a real working relationship, not a one off project
• Please tell me which hours you are available and what your rate is
