JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing New York-based independent insurance agency looking for an experienced Property & Casualty Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has previous experience working with U.S. insurance agencies and understands agency management systems, carrier portals, and customer service.

Responsibilities

* Process policy changes (endorsements)
* Prepare certificates of insurance (COIs)
* Handle policy renewals
* Process new business and remarket existing accounts
* Familiarity with ezlynx.
* Obtain quotes from carriers and wholesalers
* Communicate with underwriters and wholesale brokers
* Review coverage and identify policy discrepancies
* Assist clients via phone and email
* Follow up on underwriting requirements
* Maintain accurate client records in EZLynx
* Support Auto, Homeowners, Commercial Auto, General Liability, BOP, and Umbrella policies

Requirements

* Minimum 1-2 years of U.S. Property & Casualty insurance agency experience
* Strong knowledge of EZLynx
* Experience working with wholesale brokers (Amwins, RT Specialty, Burns & Wilcox, etc.)
* Experience with Home, Auto, Commercial Auto, General Liability, BOP, and Umbrella insurance
* Comfortable using carrier portals
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
