JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled HTML Email Designer to design visually appealing, professional, and responsive marketing emails.

This is a project-based role expected to last approximately three weeks to one month, with a steady amount of work throughout the engagement.

Strong English communication is not required. The priority is excellent email design ability, attention to detail, and the technical skills needed to turn designs into functional HTML emails.

Responsibilities
Design professional and visually engaging email templates.
Convert designs into responsive HTML emails.
Ensure emails display properly across desktop, mobile, and major email clients.
Create layouts for promotions, announcements, newsletters, and other campaigns.
Follow Quokka’s brand guidelines and visual direction.
Make design revisions based on feedback.
Test email formatting, links, images, buttons, and responsiveness.
Deliver organized and reusable HTML email files or templates.

Requirements
Proven experience designing and coding HTML emails.
Strong portfolio of previous email design work.
Good knowledge of HTML and inline CSS.
Understanding of responsive and mobile-friendly email design.
Familiarity with email-client limitations, including Gmail and Outlook.
Strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
Ability to complete revisions and deliver work on time.
English fluency is not required, provided the candidate can understand basic instructions and feedback.
Preferred Experience
Experience with platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools.
Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or other design software.
Experience testing emails across different devices and email clients.
