*Remote — Philippines | Part-Time initially, with potential to expand**
We are a U.S.-based consumer products company selling significant volume through **Amazon Vendor Central (1P)**. We are looking for an experienced Philippines-based resource who has **hands-on experience investigating and recovering Amazon shortages, receiving discrepancies, overages, unpaid invoices and related Vendor Central claims.**
This is **not a general Amazon VA position**. We are specifically looking for someone who has previously worked with Amazon Vendor Central accounts and understands the detailed reconciliation and claims process.
## What You Will Be Responsible For
You will take ownership of an ongoing Amazon reconciliation and recovery process, including:
* Reviewing Amazon shortages, overages and receiving discrepancies
* Comparing Amazon POs, accepted quantities, ASNs, invoiced quantities and quantities Amazon reports as received
* Reviewing UPS/carrier tracking and proof of delivery
* Identifying shipments where Amazon reports no receipt despite delivery evidence
* Identifying merchandise Amazon shows as received but which has not been paid
* Preparing, filing and following up on Vendor Central disputes and claims
* Monitoring cases that remain in **Pending Amazon Action**
* Following up and escalating claims until they are resolved
* Reconciling outstanding Amazon invoices and deductions
* Maintaining a clean master shortage/claims tracker
* Working with our Accounts Receivable and Logistics teams
* Analyzing historical Amazon inventory, receipts and sales when necessary to prove inventory was received
* Producing a concise weekly report showing:
* New discrepancies
* Claims filed
* Claims outstanding
* Claims recovered
* Claims denied
* Dollars still at risk
The Ideal Candidate
We are particularly interested in candidates who have actually done this work before.
Strong experience with some or all of the following is preferred:
* **Amazon Vendor Central / Amazon 1P**
* Amazon shortage claims
* Amazon receiving discrepancies
* Accounts receivable reconciliation
* Vendor Central invoicing and deductions
* Proof-of-delivery research
* Amazon dispute/case management
* Inventory reconciliation
* Logistics / 3PL reconciliation
* Advanced Excel or Google Sheets
You should be highly analytical and comfortable digging through transactions until the numbers reconcile.
We do **not** want someone who simply opens cases and waits for Amazon to respond. We want someone who knows how to investigate the underlying transaction, build the supporting evidence, maintain follow-up, and pursue legitimate recoveries.
Initial Project
We currently have a backlog of Amazon receiving, payment and shortage discrepancies that needs to be organized, investigated and resolved.
The initial assignment will allow us to evaluate your experience and effectiveness. For the right person, this can become a continuing part-time or potentially full-time position.
When Applying
Please answer these questions in your application:
1. How many years have you worked with **Amazon Vendor Central / Amazon 1P**?
2. Have you personally handled **Amazon shortage or receiving discrepancy claims**? Please describe exactly what you did.
3. Have you worked with **Pending Amazon Action**, invoice disputes, shortages, overages or proof-of-delivery cases?
4. Approximately how much in Amazon claims or deductions were you responsible for managing?
5. What reports or data in Vendor Central did you regularly use?
6. Describe one difficult Amazon shortage or receiving claim that you successfully resolved.
7. What is your proficiency level with Excel/Google Sheets?
8. What hours are you available to work?
9. What is your desired hourly or monthly compensation?
**Please put “Amazon Claims Specialist” at the beginning of your application.**
We will give preference to candidates who can demonstrate real, specific Amazon Vendor Central claims experience rather than general Amazon marketplace experience.
