We help our clients find and secure the right acquisition targets. We’re expanding our team and looking for a sharp, independent M&A Outreach Specialist to identify, contact, and qualify sell-side prospects.
This is a fully remote, independent, and client-facing role. You will own our outbound outreach campaigns from scratch and handle qualification calls with prospects entirely on your own. We need someone who can represent our clients credibly from day one, bringing fluent English, financial literacy, and the sharp judgment needed to spot a real opportunity.
The Day-to-Day:
Target Research: Find and build lists of potential acquisition targets based on what our clients are looking for (industry, size, location, and financial profile).
Outbound Outreach: Connect with business owners, executives, and decision-makers through thoughtful
Solo Qualification Calls: Run video calls with prospects to assess their fit, financial health, deal readiness, and motivation to sell. You'll be flying solo on these, so you need to be comfortable steering the conversation without backup.
Pipeline Management: Keep the CRM updated with clear notes on call outcomes, financial details, and next steps.
Relationship Nurturing: Stay in touch with warm prospects until they are ready to be introduced to the core deal team.
Reporting: Keep track of your weekly progress, including pipeline volume, response rates, and the number of qualified meetings booked.
What You Bring to the Table:
Flawless English: This is a heavy phone- and video-facing role. Clear, native-level verbal and written English is non-negotiable.
Education: An MBA is required for this role.
PST Availability: You must be based in or available to work during core Pacific Time business hours to align with our prospects.
High Autonomy: You are completely comfortable running discovery and qualification calls by yourself. No hand-holding required.
M&A Knowledge: You understand the fundamentals of deal structures, basic valuation, and what makes a company a strong target for acquisition.
Strong Copywriting: You know how to write cold
Tech Stack: Experience using CRMs and outbound tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Nice-to-Haves:
A background in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory.
Prior experience in a business development or SDR role with regular quotas.
Familiarity sourcing targets in specific industries (like SaaS, healthcare, industrials, or business services).
Logistics & Compensation
Type: Independent contractor engagement. Paid hourly or via a monthly retainer (negotiable based on your experience).
Hours: Flexible, but you must overlap with PST business hours for prospect calls.
Location: 100% Remote.
