JOB OVERVIEW

The Operations Assistant - Virtual Assistant (VA) plays a pivotal role in providing essential back-office support for general business operations. Tasked with overseeing less-than-truckload shipments, the Operations Assistant ensures seamless logistics operations by conducting regular check calls throughout the day to guarantee timely pickup, transit, and delivery of shipments. Moreover, they are entrusted with maintaining detailed notations and facilitating communication regarding shipment updates and any encountered issues. This position requires a meticulous focus on accuracy and attention to detail in all reporting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Tracking and tracing shipments
Verifying pickup of loads
Monitoring transit times to meet expectations
Confirming delivery of loads
Documenting updates and issues in the system
Liaising with relevant staff members to address problems
Undertaking additional responsibilities as feasible

Qualifications:

Experience: We require 6 months to 1 year BPO voice experience.
Specialized Knowledge: While training is provided, familiarity with the logistics or freight industry, especially in Less Than Truckload operations, is advantageous.
Skills: Proficiency in email and phone communication, adeptness in computer and internet usage, and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Abilities: Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, exceptional organizational skills, collaborative nature, effective communication skills, and capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
