JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for someone who already knows how to read an MCA file and can quickly determine whether a submission is ready for underwriting.

If you have experience reviewing business bank statements, identifying existing funding, and catching issues before a file reaches an underwriter, this could be a good long-term opportunity.

The Role

You will be responsible for the initial financial review of incoming merchant files. Your job will be to organize the information, identify potential concerns, and provide the underwriting team with a clear picture of the merchant's financial activity.

Your day-to-day work may include:

Reviewing business bank statements and financial documents
Identifying current MCA/loan obligations and recurring ACH payments
Recognizing stacking, multiple daily debits, and unusual withdrawal activity
Reviewing deposits, balances, negative days, NSFs, and overdrafts
Calculating and reviewing basic cash-flow metrics and run rates
Checking for inconsistencies between the application and supporting documents
Identifying potential red flags before submission to underwriting
Making sure files contain the required documentation
Entering clear notes and maintaining accurate file records
Communicating with the underwriting/operations team regarding issues found

Who We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who can look at a bank statement and immediately understand what is happening financially.

You should have:

Previous experience in MCA, business lending, or financial file review
Strong bank statement analysis skills
Familiarity with MCA terminology and funding structures
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and stay organized
Good written English
Comfortable working with Excel and other computer-based systems
Ability to handle multiple submissions without sacrificing accuracy

MCA-specific experience is strongly preferred.

Helpful Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

MCA CRMs or submission platforms
Underwriting assistance
